Engagement analytics

See who keeps up and who might need a nudge.

Engagement analytics show how the adults in your pack are keeping up with surveys, announcements, events, and tasks, so you can spot who might need a friendly nudge. This guide is for pack leaders and den leaders.

Open the report

  • Pack leaders: choose Manage Pack at the top of the portal, then Analytics. Every leader with a management role can open it, and it covers every adult in the pack.
  • Den leaders: choose My Den, then Analytics. Den leaders and assistant den leaders see only the adults in their own dens.

Choose a program year

The report covers one program year at a time, starting on the date your pack's school year starts (August 1 unless your pack changed it under Unit settings and features). It opens on the current year. Use Program year to look back at an earlier one.

Read the summary

Four tiles across the top give you the big picture:

  • Adults: how many active adults the report covers today.
  • Survey completion: how many of the surveys asked of these adults have been answered.
  • Announcements read: how many delivered announcements have been read.
  • Never signed in: adults who haven't signed in to ScoutKeep yet.

Check each adult

The table lists every adult with these columns:

  • Surveys answered: surveys they've completed out of those that applied to them. A survey counts only if its audience included them, based on each family's current den.
  • Announcements read: announcements they've read out of those sent to them.
  • Event RSVPs: how many events their family responded to.
  • Events attended: how many events they were checked in at.
  • Tasks done: tasks they completed out of those they took on.
  • Last sign-in: when they last signed in, or Never.

Search by name to find someone. Use Sort by to put the people who most need a nudge at the top:

  • Fewest surveys answered lists the adults with the lowest survey completion first.
  • Longest since sign-in lists the adults who haven't signed in for the longest time first.

Tip: Someone who has never signed in may not have received their invitation. See Managing families and Scouts for inviting parents.

See who hasn't answered a survey

When you open a survey's responses, the Who has responded panel lists every adult the survey asks something of, with those who haven't responded yet at the top. Use it to decide whom to remind. See Surveys and event feedback.
